Life's still being a bit of a bitch, but things can only get better, right?

Haven't updated here in....forever. Haven't been in fandom for months, and haven't been feeling very creative for even longer, so that's probably why. In the last couple weeks, I've fallen back in, though, and it gives a bit of a warm fuzzy feeling to be 'home' amongst the things and people that I love. I just started writing again this week, and the muses seem to be reawakening rather well - I'm even considering RPing again! Which is always fun.

I'm currently working on a Ragnarok Online Archer costume, which was meant to be for Supanova....but yeah, didn't get finished. Hopefully I can get it done for AVCon at least. I haven't had a new costume in so long, I really kinda miss the rush and the posing for photos and the meeting new people

Hmm, that's about all for now, I think~ I should really post up some photos of crafty things I've done some time...we'll see how this week goes, I might get around to that. And some long overdue photo posts, too.

Why hello DA journal, you need updating like whoa. I've actually been managing to use my LJ a bit more, but sadly, DA still needs more love from me.

I just got back from taking 285 photos of what is reputedly the most photographed place in the world. The Dutch Keukenhof. I am actually extremely pleased with some of my photography whilst there, and intend to enter the photography competition held by the Keukenhof every year.

I expect I'll be uploading my faves to DA also. But first I think I might make myself a watermark, because I really do like them, and it'd be a shame if they got stolen. :/

In other news, this week has seen me be eaten by Uni so that I've pretty much come home and fallen in an exhausted heap each day. I've also managed to fall back into Kyou Kara Maou fandom *shakes fist at 3rd season* and returned to writing, also. (Hi muses, long time no see!)

These past few months I've gone through a few tense/emotional phases, and days where I can't even work up the motivation/courage to leave my room. I've been swinging pretty heavily between superhappysquee high and doubtfailureisolation lows...but I've been working through a few things that have been bothering me (and trying to not crawl into my comfort shell so much), and for now things are looking up. This week at least, has contained no serious downs, nor any panic attacks, so *fingers crossed*. I can do this. *deep breaths*

I'm missing everyone back home terribly. Especially Lexis D:
But...only 2.5 months to go, I think!

MARLUXIA!!!11!!!!one!!! XD Also: Saix, Riku, Xigbar, Xemnas, Demyx, and Jafar (shut-up, he's always been my favourite Disney villain!)

2.) What is your favorite pairing /s/?
ANY/ALL OF THEM. But seriously, if I had to narrow the field...umm. Marluxia/Saix, Riku/Sora, Xemnas/Saix, Saix/Axel (though it's often not done well), Marluxia/Larxene, and most other pairings involving Marluxia or Saix....but yeah, I love pairing KH all over the place, so as long as it's well written/drawn I'm into it.

3.) Are you a Kingdom Hearts yaoi or hentai fan?
I don't know that those options are mutually exclusive...yaoi hentai ftw. If the question is perhaps refering to yaoi and yuri, then I'd have to say I'm a fan of both. Though KH yuri is not very common or very well done, in general.

Pro.

Yep, though I haven't finished CoM or FM+ or Re:CoM yet. (Oh, and I haven't played the apparently dodgy mobile phone game that wasn't released here)

Yep, as far as the CoM manga. I've read fan-translations of the KH2 manga, too - I'm waiting for the boxset of the KH2 manga before I buy it.

16.) Do you believe Sora has ADD?
It's a definite possibility.

17.) Japanese or English?
Hmmm, a bit of column A, a bit of column B? I like the English voices, particularly for the Disney characters...And the Japanese voices are sexeh. I just hope that when/if Re:CoM gets dubbed, they do Marluxia's voice justice and don't make him sound like a complete pansy or something. :/

18.) Pro-Naminé or Anti-Naminé?
Pro.

19.) Demyx = Annoying or funny?
I like Demyx, he's an enigma to me...no matter how many times I watch the way he acts in the game, I still can't work him out. He's only annoying when I can't beat his stupid timed clone battles on Proud Mode. As for funny? Not canon Demyx - there's something entirely too sad/desperate about the way he acts for me to find it funny. Fan Demyx, however, is often amusing.

20.) Do you believe Demyx's Somebody was from Atlantica (Splash Island)?
No, he was a Water-bender, duuuuh! XD I believe that there are people out there that can very convincingly write/draw Demyx as being Atlantican (or Water Tribe or a Mermaid from Neverland, etc.)....but the fact is, no one knows for sure where he came from. Maybe when 358/2 Days comes out, we'll know the truth!

21.) Zexion = Sexy beast or Emo?
Neither? I like Zexion; he's sly, devious, cunning, and ruthless. I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley.

22.) Which character would be the best crossdresser?
Saix? XD I'm kidding, though my RP Saix is possibly about to try it (or be forced to....lol). I'd say probably Axel, he has the hips. Though Vexen would be a close second, I think.

23.) Axel = Gay or strait?
Hmm, I don't think Axel is a type of body of water, perhaps they mean 'straight'? I'd actually vote for him not particularly caring about the sex of a partner.

ZOMG. I had so much fun! I can't believe how quickly my week in Perth went, though D: I was so sad to say goodbye to , , and you guys are all so awesomesauce and fun to be around!

Big surprise, I fail at updating my DA almost as much as I do updating my LJ!

Well, I always manage to get around to it when trying to avoid doing something else (ie. homework) XD Coupla new pics up tonight from Manifest that I filched from ~Ishtarl-Demonic-Fox's gallery. Someday (probably after this semester is over - so, November) I will get around to making proper costume montages for Wolfram, Marluxia, and Saix like I did for Omi way back when~ Actually, speaking of montages, I might go upload the two I made for the Manifest cosplay comp entry that never got used. They'd make for decent desktop wallpapers, I think~

These last few weeks have been very up and down, so if you've had to put up with me either ranting moodily or spazzing crazily at you, then thank you and sorry! ;; I've experienced some of the best days of my life and some of the absolute worst all in the space of one week, so I'm rather off kilter and not sure exactly how to deal with any of it properly.

I can't wait till this semester is over, though, and I can start working on my next series of cosplaying adventures. Yay, my first Wai-con! It should be exciting!

I'd like to do proper con reports for AVCon and Manifest, but I know myself well enough to know they are unlikely to ever actually get done. So, in short: I had fantastic fun at both of them, and wish that they were still on! I met the most awesome people! <333 Yay for new friends and yay for no longer being single! I love you Lex and miss you sooooo much~
